The content of course is rich. It can be divided into four parts: "demarcation", "scientific revolution", scientific realism" and "scientific value". Students have opportunity to read abundant and detailed reading materials. The questionnaire after the course helps students in self-examination. This project requires students to have a high level of self-study ability. However, I faced many challenges in the early stage of the project. For example, it is somewhat difficult to communicate with my professor. Sometimes I cannot follow with her in class with the anxiety and fear of foreign language learning. In order to better participate in activities, I reviewed what I have learned according to Introduction to the Philosophy of Science and Technology. Based on the course outline, I studied and sorted out the issued reading materials, especially the PowerPoint prepared by Ms.Ivanova and Mr.Perkins, and carefully thought about the questions after class to make sure that I am clear about the main content of the class. Day by day, I gradually kept pace with professors.

I payed attention to Popper’s falsificationism and Kuhn’s theory because which hypothesis has a greater explanatory power is the subject of my essay. In order to compare Popper's theory with Kuhn's theory, describing their theories is an essential step. Therefore, I need to read more. A large number of reading materials have prompted me to accumulate a lot of professional terms. Last but not least, the guidance of academic writing made me know the basic requirements and skills of paper writing, which improve my ability to expression in English.
