During 8th February to 6th April in 2022,I’m glad to participate in OPGDI Winter Tutorial Programme.It’s a really a fantastic and rewarding programme that is worth being recollected.
Firstly,this programme makes me more interesting in the study of moral philosophy.it's really happy time to have our lessons every Wednesday.During that period,I always look forward to the coming of Wednesdays.Thanks for our tutor’s patience,although sometimes I can't discuss the questions effectively with him within limited time,he always be patient enough to listen to my argument and explanation.That gives me much courage.I used to be shy of expressing my opinions and raise questions,but during the time having tutorial programme,I am eager to have more discussions with tutor and want to come up with some interesting ideas.
Secondly,this programme has improved my academic level.Before this tutorial programme,I was confused about why others seems to be able to challenge some of the assumptions which are put up by a philosopher but what I can do is just to agree with the authors.How to read a philosophical book is a puzzle to me.With the help of conversational teaching pattern,I am able to find that my own arguments sometimes are not consistent and sometimes there is a premise which is controversial but I take it for granted and ignore it.But now,I find myself have progress in critical thinking and have eager to read philosophy even in the original English.It's a pleasant surprise and invaluable treasure to me.Words cannot express how pleased I am.
Last but not least,I gratefully acknowledge the financial support from Jilin university school of philosophy and sociology.It provides us students with a platform to open up our horizons and broaden thinking,encouraging us to devote ourselves to the study of philosophy and make contributions in this field in the future.
