From December 1 to December 7, 2019, the author participated in the one week international exchange project "Seoul University Jilin University labor and social security forum", during which he visited several universities, including National Seoul University, Sungkyunkwan University, Ewha Womans University, Yonsei University and Hongik University; and two NGOs, Gwanak-gu comprehensive nursing home and Gwanak-gu goodwill comprehensive welfare center.

The center of our activity was Seoul University. The following is the author's main agenda. And we arrived  at Seoul University on December 1.

On the morning of December 2, I visited the Gwanak-gu comprehensive nursing home in Gwanak-gu District, Seoul. At present, the problem of providing for the aged in Seoul is serious, and the Gwanak-gu comprehensive nursing home founded in 1989 is one of the most representative welfare homes for the aged in Seoul. The activity is mainly divided into three parts: introduction, interactive questions and visit and exchange. First of all, the president and others introduced the pension welfare policy of South Korea and the development history of Gwanak-gu comprehensive nursing home. In the interactive question section, the author puts forward the core question about promoting the social participation of the elderly, and thinks that the core is reemployment. During the visit and exchange, I visited the dining room of the nursing home and other areas.

On the morning of December 3rd, he visited Seoul university to visit the library of the University of Seoul (including Xi Jinping Library), the law school and Kyujanggak Ancient Books Research Center . The exchange delegation visited the Institute of social development of Seoul University from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. that day. From 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on the same day, the Asian Research Center and the Department of Sociology of Seoul University jointly held a social security forum. The meeting was presided over by Professor Zheng Ling. First of all, Dean Zhang Dezhen gave a welcome speech and introduced history and other disciplines. Later, Professor Piao Jingshu carried out an academic report entitled "analysis of the causes of low birth rate". The main research object was young people of childbearing age in South Korea. Professor Piao Jingshu pointed out that the reduction of birth rate is no longer a social problem but an established social phenomenon, so it is not suitable to issue policies to regulate the birth rate, but to investigate the young people (focusing on women) under the development centered competition mode Ideological change and its multiple causes are the key points. As a conclusion, we should pay attention to the choice of youth, actively explore gender identity and reflect on the development model as the background of social structure.

From 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on December 4, I participated in the Symposium on foreign students' study and exchange. I believe that although it is not easy for them to study and live in a foreign country, they have a more rigorous and practical style of study, a better academic ability, and a more comprehensive quality. At 4:30-6:00 that night, the students of the exchange group listened to an English lecture held by the Asia Institute of Seoul University: Issues & capabilities Seminar: U.S. refugee policy in the Trump era: changes and impacts on women and children. The lecture professor combed and distinguished four concepts of refugee status; the lecture content was mainly negative impact on American refugee policy (especially women and children) during trump period; in the conclusion, the lecture professor expressed concern for this negative impact. The author questions the framework of refugee policy.

On the morning of December 5, the exchange delegation visited the Gwanak-gu goodwill comprehensive welfare center. The relevant leaders introduced the social background of South Korea's economic development and the polarization between the rich and the poor, as well as the situation that simple government financial assistance could not eradicate social problems under this background, and then proposed the necessity of the comprehensive welfare center as a non-governmental service. The service items in the museum are introduced in detail and systematically. For the elderly and young people, the disabled, single parent families, crisis families and other groups, around the functions of energy strengthening, and happy community, a series of comprehensive services including lunch supply, game space, rural spring outing, family service, interest schools and festival celebrations are developed, which cover a wide range and complete range Service system. At the end of the introduction, the author makes a deep discussion on the content of empowerment and energy increase and the staff. After answering questions, I visited the paintings and other works of art left by the elderly and children in the welfare home. In the afternoon of the same day, the exchange delegation visited  Ewha Womans University, Yonsei University and Hongik University, focusing on the iconic landscape architecture of libraries, art galleries and museums.

On the morning of December 6, the exchange delegation visited Sungkyunkwan University and made preparations for returning home in the afternoon. On December 7, the exchange group rushed to Incheon International Airport of South Korea and set foot on the return journey.
